Caldee Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Caldee is a Chrome side panel calendar service. This Privacy Policy explains what data Caldee handles when you sign in, connect calendar accounts, view calendars, create or edit events, and use related calendar features.

Data Caldee Handles

Caldee may handle account data such as your name, email address, avatar, and account identifiers. When you connect a calendar provider, Caldee may handle connected calendar data such as calendar lists, calendar names, colors, time zones, access permissions, and connection metadata.

Caldee may handle calendar event data such as event titles, descriptions, locations, start and end times, attendees, reminders, visibility, busy or free status, video meeting links, recurrence information, and sync metadata. Provider tokens and app passwords are stored encrypted. Session tokens are stored in a protected form.

The Chrome extension may store interface preferences and a temporary browser cache of calendars and events so the side panel can load faster. Caldee may also process technical and security data needed for authentication, sessions, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and service reliability.

How Caldee Uses Data

Caldee uses data only to provide visible calendar features: showing your calendars and events, syncing changes, creating, updating, or deleting events when you ask Caldee to do so, checking availability, detecting conflicts, and adding video meeting details when requested.

Caldee does not sell calendar data, use calendar data for advertising, or transfer calendar data to data brokers. Caldee does not request permission to read the websites you visit.

Sharing

Caldee shares data only when needed to operate the service: with the calendar or meeting providers you connect, with infrastructure providers that host or secure the service, or when required for legal, safety, or security reasons.

For data received from Google APIs, Caldee's use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Caldee does not allow human access to calendar data except when needed for security, legal compliance, or support requested by the user.

Retention and Deletion

Caldee keeps data while needed to provide the service, maintain connected accounts, sync calendars, protect sessions, and meet security or legal needs. Temporary browser cache is pruned over time.

Disconnecting a calendar account stops Caldee from using that connection for future access, but it does not delete events from the original calendar provider. You may request deletion of your Caldee account data through the support contact shown on Caldee's Chrome Web Store listing or OAuth consent screen.

Children

Caldee is not directed to children under 13. Do not use Caldee if you are not allowed to use connected calendar accounts or the Chrome extension in your jurisdiction.

Changes

Caldee may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be published on this page.
